Camp Kidville is THE place for learning, playing, and making new friends from May to August! Each small camp group participates in developmentally appropriate activities in gym, music, art, exploration and more. Weekly themes such as The Wild Wild West and Safari Adventure set the stage for sports and movement games, live jam sessions with a Kidville musician, take-home art projects, interactive story time and dramatic play in our state-of-the-art air conditioned facility. Our program is designed to facilitate children with sensitive needs for ages 4.5 - 7 years. The class focuses on sensory exploration, gymnastics, games, group drills by using a wide variety of state of the art surfaces and manipulatives offered in the gym (trampoline, foam pit, mini trampoline, tumble track, trapeze, sensory swings, mats of all shapes and sizes). Fitness and fun in one class for the child with extra sensitive senses! Along with body control, this class will also focus on the use of communication skills in a social setting. Pirouette and plié! Prima ballerinas will learn new ballet skills and concepts, and improve their balance, rhythm, and flexibility. Then, they’ll enjoy a special tea party and story after the dancing is done.
